Sympathy for the Skin hand and body lotion by Lush
Featured in my haul and I haven't ben able to stop using this. I've been applying it every day since I got it. It's so moisturizing and I just love the scent. I'm trying to cut back and ration it a bit now, because I've used more than half the jar in just about two weeks. Oops. ;)
Tea Tree Oil by The Body Shop
I saw several bloggers and youtubers talking about this one and its supposed miracle effects and I decided to give it a go. I have combination/oily skin, so I'm always interested in products to help manage spots and redness. I've been using this twice a day, which is probably too often, but I'm still finding my routine, so I'll probably cut down a bit. But yeah, this stuff works. I'm not saying it's a miracle cure, but it has definitely reduced some of the redness and helped to keep spots in control. It's here to stay in my skin care routine.
Luxury Wash by Kevin Murphy
I received this in my first Goodiebox, if you remember, and I got a good ten washes out of the sample sized bottle. First of all, it smells amazing, the coconut scent isn't too overpowering. It was gentle and didn't leave my scalp feeling itchy, which some shampoos do. While I was using it, my hair felt so much softer. But as much as I loved it, I don't think I'll be spending the money for a 250 ml bottle any time soon. But it was great while it lasted.
This was also featured in my recent haul. I have been using this a lot. The peppermint in the mask feels so refreshing on the skin and it's gently exfoliating. It's such a wakeup call for the skin. It has such a lovely scent, I swear, right after taking this mask off, I feel like putting it on again.
Tea Tree Face Mask by The Body Shop
Again with the tea tree oil, I know, but this stuff is great for oily skin, apparently. And yes, another face mask, but both of these are really amazing. Immediately when I put this on, I can feel it working. It definitely wakes up the skin. It absorbs excess oil and leaves the skin matte, but not dry. I also really like the scent, obviously, it smells of tea tree oil, but it has some citrus undertones that really comes through when it's on your skin. Love it! I think I'll be looking into the rest of the Tea Tree series in The Body Shop.
Lastly, I have three lip products that I've been loving:
- Rosebud by Wet 'n' Wild: For its creamy texture, despite its matte finish.
- Cremecup by Mac: For the lovely colour.
- Lemon lipbutter by The Bodyshop: For when my lips have been in need of moisturizing.
